WHO ARE WE ANYWAY?

I ask myself this question every now and again.  We all do.

WHO ARE WE ANYWAY??

Do you even know who you are? Your home night after night, surfing the internet, trying to see if there is someone or something you can be. Scrolling thru tabloids and youtube, doing all the wannabe stuff.  Trying to fit in with the rest of the clones of today’s Hollywood wannabees. 

WHO ARE WE ANYWAY??

You poor child ...giving yourself to anyone who will take you.  Everyone wait in line! You’ll get some soon!.  How quickly we forget that the killer is out there lurking around the corner, waiting for an opportunity to spread the word AIDS..  Are you that angry and lost that you don’t care anymore? Who are they anyways, the people that helped you feel this way? Why do you choose to continue life on this path?  Take responsibility for YOUR part.

I see you walking around with your squared shoulders, you walk in confidence, wanting to be noticed,  You don't want to be forgotten or pushed aside as if you were insignificant. So you speak loud, talking over everyone you believe that your ways and ideas are better that the next person.  Everyone else’s thoughts, ideas or beliefs are mediocre and irrelevant.  Inside, your scared and insecure. Many times your in over your head, but don’t want to let on.


WHO ARE WE ANYWAY??


You sit there in silence, pretending to be innocent like a new born child. But your dangerous, feeling locked up inside, screaming to be released. Watching, taking notes, ready to walk on and do whatever is necessary to get ahead.  Your an opportunist, only help others when you know you can be greatly rewarded by your works.  Taking credit for idea that are not yours.  How'd you get that way? Where did that way of being come from?
